Northern green frog trying to hide

This is not a juvenile bullfrog. The two species are very similar, but the northern green frog has ridges that run from behind its ears down its back. Bullfrogs don’t have this feature.

Bullfrogs, of course, get gigantic, so once you see a fully mature bullfrog, there is no mistaking them.
